    Palm Garden Restaurant inside the Hotel Geneve, the first luxurious hotel that existed in Mexico City and that currently continues to operate in Colonia Juarez. According to the book Porfirio Díaz y el Porfiriato: Cronología (1830-1915) by Pablo Serrano Álvarez, the Palm Garden was a place frequently visited by the then president, since it opened its doors in 1907. The historian even affirmed that Díaz Mori was having breakfast with his family right in the middle of the outbreak of the Revolution...
